one of my favorites for many reasons
Spanish-days, months,
seasons, calender writing
English- test Tuesday on
verbs; review linking verbs; active and passive voice
English Writing-focusing on clarity replacing overused verbs( two
assignments)
Advanced Math- quiz Monday on simple probability; test
Tuesday on Chapter 9: Lessons 1-4; using the % proportion;fractions,decimals and
percents
Grade 8:
Literature- beginning a unit
on traditions of the past- ballads, folk tales this week
Spanish-interrogative
pronouns and sentence translations
Advanced Math- factoring;
test Tuesday on adding and subtracting polynomials; multiplying a monomial and
a trinomial;factoring out a monomial; start the “foil” process
