Principal’s Report

Mrs. Janet Curry, Principal of Saints Peter and Paul School opened with a prayer.  Progress Reports went out at the beginning of the month.  We also had Fire Prevention Day this month.  We have a guest speaker tonight John Cattelan from Connecticut Federation of Catholic Schools.  We will also have the 5th and 6th grades performing.

Minutes and Actions of this Meeting

 

 

Following tonight’s meeting parents were asked to stay for John Cattelan our guest speaker and for the 5th and 6th grades performance.  The Fall Book Fair was set up before and after the meeting in the gym so that anyone can purchase the books they needed.

 

 The 2007-08 Fundraisers:

 

Pies:   The flyers went out and the orders should be back in school by 10/12 in time for the 11/13 delivery date.  The chairperson’s are Diane Forte and Sarah Paolino.

 

Italian Night:  This event has been moved to December sometime because of all the activities that are going on in October.  The chairperson is Brian Mongelluzzo.

 

Halloween Party:  The admission is $4.00 per child and is opened to the public.  It will be Saturday night 10/27 from 5:30 to 8:30pm.  Their will be a haunted house, finger foods and a kid’s raffle.  The chairperson is Jen Humphrey.

 

Secret Santa:  Will be the week of December 10.   The chairperson is Catherine Ursini.

 

Christmas Bazaar:  Will be Sunday November 25.  Ann will do the baskets, wreaths, and have breakfast served in the morning.  Special guest will be SANTA.  The chairperson is Ann Ferraro.

 

The next General Home and School meeting will be held Thursday , December 13, 2007.
